EMTA awards

This five day course is aimed at giving delegates sufficient electrical understanding to enable them to work safely in a domestic installation environment.

Content:
• Basic electrical principals
• Circuit protection devices, e.g. fuses and circuit breakers
• Cable construction and selection
• Good workmanship practice in building lighting and power circuits
• Testing circuits
• Interpretation of results, drawings and technical data
• Electrical safety and isolation

This course is recommended for those delegates who wish to change careers; or who have little electrical experience and precedes the VRQ Domestic Electrical Installer Certificate course.
