Apprenticeships at WATA - Employer information
Youth Training
WATA has been managing apprentice and trainee programmes on behalf of companies since the mid- 1970s. Currently over 150 WATA apprenticeships are underway with some 50 companies.
Each WATA programme is individually designed to meet the needs of our client company and their apprentices.
WATA has access to Government funds ensuring costs are minimised for our client companies.
WATA apprenticeships ensure your workforce skills are developed to meet the future goals and business needs of your organisation.
We remain the main link between young people and prospective employers by providing:
- Vacancy advertisements, Interview, test and selection services.
- Support from our professional trainers, all nationally accredited assessors/verifiers.
- WATA Membership with clear benefits including access to the WATA skills courses.
WATA are a preferred contractor with the Skills Funding Agency and offer an Apprenticeship Managing Agency Service. The fee for this is between 7.5% to 20% depending on the level of service required.
