Replaces the Intermediate Certificate in Food Safety.
The CIEH Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering is
designed for managers and supervisors in medium and large
manufacturing or catering businesses. Changes in legislation in
January 2006 placed greater onus and accountability on any one in the
food business with supervisory responsibility. It is therefore vital they
are equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to do their job
effectively. It is strongly recommended that candidates have previously
completed the CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. This
course is assessed by a multi-choice test.
