Quality Management Systems

3 daysThis three-day course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to develop, implement and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) for their organisation to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008.

The course provides delegates with an understanding of the needs for Quality Management Systems including their structure and contents. Delegates will also acquire the knowledge and skills to develop and maintain effective process documents, procedures and work instructions.

What does the course cover?
• The need for Quality Management Systems.
• Principles and purpose of quality management.
• Clause by clause explanation of BS EN ISO 9001:2008.
• Purpose and benefits of QMS documentation.
• Developing process documents, procedures, work instructions and forms.
• Overview of BS EN ISO 19011 auditing standard.
• Audit programs, audit planning, conducting audits, audit reporting and audit follow up.

Delegates are encouraged to bring examples of their existing QMS documentation to the course.

This course is suitable for delegates who require an understanding of how to develop, implement and maintain effective quality management systems.
