This course is intended for those who have responsibility for the design, erection, inspection and testing of electrical installations. The course fulfils the NICEIC's requirements for Qualifying Managers in respect of BS7671

To gain the Level 3 Certificate, delegates must complete each of the following:

  • 2391 – 302 Practical application of the inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations (practical exam),
  • 2391 – 303 Design, erection and verification of electrical installations (theory exam)
  • 2391 – 304 Design, erection and verification of electrical installations (practical project)

The project is based on a small commercial, industrial or domestic installation. The completion of this project is mainly home-based with preliminary tutorial advice given on the last day of the course, together with regular postal assessment and guidance reviews. The project is expected to take a minimum of 20 hours.

Pre-requisites:
The Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-10) full certification is a pre-requisite for this course.
