This course introduces further alternating current theory, single and three phase supplies, electro-magnetism, transformers and capacitive and inductive reactance, followed by the theory of operation of isolators, fuses, relays, timers, contactors and overload protection. Control circuits, symbols and panel building techniques are introduced followed by practical build exercises, including D.O.L. starters and simple circuit design.
