This course gives an introduction to single phase and three phase a.c. theory, the selection of fuses, circuit breakers and cables followed by the construction, inspection and testing of simple single phase circuits used in commercial and domestic situations. The emphasis is on electrical safety including electric shock and flashover risks and isolation procedures.
