Pass rate

Replaces the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene (formerly known as the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate).

This award is designed to provide existing employees or new starters working in catering, that have little or no previous food hygiene training, with a basic level of understanding of food hygiene to enable them to handle and prepare food safely. The course is assessed by a short test of multi-choice questions.
