How WATA can assist you and your company

West Anglia Training Association has been co-ordinating apprentice and trainee programmes since the mid 1970s and has approved quality standards in partnership with local Learning and Skills Councils.

We work on a national basis with major employers and small companies and our programmes are individually designed to meet the needs of your company and apprentices.

We can help you to develop your workforce to achieve the goals and business needs of your organisation. All programmes reflect the Investors in People principles. “We deliver high quality training to industry standards with trainees achieving nationally recognised qualifications”

WATA has for a long time been the preferred apprentice training provider for many companies and has been at the forefront of the apprenticeship initiative.

We are a main link between young people and prospective employers who are looking to recruit high calibre team members. We can interview, test and assist companies in the selection of young people.

Your company will receive support from our professional trainers and nationally recognised assessor/verifiers throughout the trainee’s programme.
As one of our sponsor companies you will benefit from membership of our association and the many courses that we offer.
In many cases we can access government funding from the local Learning and Skills Councils to assist with the financial costs relating to Youth Training.

West Anglia Training can offer Apprenticeships, NVQs and key skills in the following sectors:

Engineering Production Business Administration
Engineering Manufacture Customer Service
Engineering Maintenance Information Technology
Electronics The Young Drivers Scheme
Electrical Installation Warehousing & Distribution

Our Engineering Apprentices have access to a full range of qualifications including BTEC and City & Guilds whilst our Business Trainees can expect to achieve NVQs plus Text and Word Processing examinations.
