This 2 day split Level 3 qualification is for those undertaking practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment and explains the requirements of PAT testing and how to conduct the necessary tests to ensure compliance with statutory legislation.  Delegates attending the course will have the opportunity of using a range of portable appliance testers.

Delegates must demonstrate an ability to inspect and test items of both class 1 and class 2 equipment and will be required to successfully complete a practical exam, including documentation, along with an on-line theory exam in order to gain the qualification.

Please note candidates are expected to carry out additional revision in preparation for the theory and practical exam.

Practical exam – 50 minutes

Theory exam –   1 hour 50 minutes
