Grant available for eligible employers – £400: £50 per day for training days only £240 for successful completion of the Practical Test £60 for successful completion of the Theory Test.

 

Full Course description

Overview: Delivered through practical experience and group based tutorials, this course will deliver the components needed to support you in successful completion and understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Plant and Vehicle Marshaller. Understanding plant hazards and ground conditions as well as preparing for vehicle movement, communication, guidance and work area layouts this programme will effectively embed the positioning of plant and vehicle management traffic plans.

Course content: Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 Other current relevant regulations and requirements Roles and responsibilities Plant types, limitations, hazards and stability factors Work management traffic plan Proximity hazards and safe positioning Communication methods Preparing and guidance for plant and vehicle movement

Pre requisites: You must have passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test no more than two years before attending this course.
