Employer Information

WATA is an established company that has been managing apprentice and training programmes on behalf of companies since the 1970s. Over the years it has built up a reputation for its high quality services aimed at businesses looking to benefit from apprentices.

At WATA we use our vast knowledge and experience to ensure that the right apprentice is matched with the right company; as well as this, we provide all the training needed to make sure that the apprentice has the skills they need to make a meaningful impact on your company. There are currently over 150 WATA apprenticeships taking place with some 50 companies.

Each one of our programmes is uniquely designed to meet the demands of our client’s company and their apprentices. We work closely with companies to find out their specific needs and ensure that the apprentices are trained and developed to meet these needs. As well as this, our apprentice programmes make sure that employees’ skills are developed to meet the future goals and needs of your company.

Along with training apprentices, we also help to bridge the link between young people and prospective employers by providing:

•Job vacancy adverts, interviews, test and selection services

•Support from our professional trainers, all nationally accredited assessors/verifiers

The Benefits:

For many companies apprenticeships are a great way of finding and supporting new and young talent. As well as new talent, apprentices can also re-skill current staff and tackle skill shortages in a company.

Other benefits of an apprentice programme for companies include:
• Reducing training and recruitment costs
• Increasing productivity and your bottom line
• Developing a skilled, motivated and qualified workforce
• Improving customer service results
• Providing financial return on investment

We can help you with the recruitment and selection process of an apprentice, so that your company not only benefits from the advantages of an apprentice programme but can also access funding where eligible.
