To mark National Apprenticeship Week 2016 WATA is hosting events for employers, schools, parents and future Apprentices.

Schools event – ‘Have a Go’

Year 11′s will be visiting WATA to take part in our ‘Have a Go’ event covering tasks in Construction, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.This will give students a practical taster and insight into working in different industries.

WATA work with many local schools by supporting young people, providing exposure to specialist occupations and employers within the Region through a range of taster days, careers events and work placements.  WATA provide effective information advice and guidance to those wishing to move into apprenticeships and employment when leaving school at year 11 and 13.
