Nigel has comprehensive knowledge in mechanical engineering having been in the industry for over 30 years gaining a wealth of experience  working for Baker Perkins. For the last five years has been working as an associate assessor for WATA and two leading colleges in the area assisting with the delivery of  Apprenticeships.

Nigel’s new role as Engineering Instructor will include teaching bench fitting, machining, and engineering drawing as part of our new Engineering PEO course being offered  to employers from our new Engineering Centre of excellence.

Nigel is looking forward to the new challenge that lies ahead and being able to share his knowledge with young people who have chosen engineering as their career path.

Steve has joined the WATA team to support our Site Manager and brings with him a portfolio of specialist skills to ensure that both our main site and our new Engineering site at St Margarets Way maintain the consistent high standard our delegates, learners, employers and staff expect.

With our increased level of Apprentices and employers who are choosing WATA as their preferred training provider, Steve will also be using his mini bus driving experience to transport our out of Huntingdon learners to WATA sites.
